What is cartoonist John Lane, who did the 9th. admendment to the Bill of Rights back in 1991, doing nowadays?
D. D. Degg says:John R. Lane (ca. 1932/33 – ) was a long time cartoonist for the NEA/UFS syndicates. He joined the NEA art department in 1956 folowing the trail blazed by his father cartoonist Ralph Lane.
He was for a period the syndicate’s chief political cartoonist and regularly illustrated their closed end strips. At the time of this Bill of Rights being distributed his 1979 “How to Make a Merry Christmas” seasonal strip for NEA was being rerun as the 1991 Christmas strip.
His comic strip bona fides (besides the short term strips) were “The Good Guys” and “Ben Swift.”
